Occupancy / Space Management

The “sensor node”, integrated in luminaires or standalone appliances, constantly collects, stores and communicates data regarding occupancy, luminaire performance and energy consumption thanks to the capillary distribution of the sensors across spaces. This data can be accessed via a software platform hosted in the Organic Response cloud via the Organic Response Portal web page, where a data analysis engine provides elements that are useful for managing the space in question. The Organic Response system can be integrated in a building management system thanks to freely available APIs. In this way, the occupancy data is connected to the building’s technological systems (e.g. HVAC).

Our accessory module that is equipped with an Organic Response Technology light and motion multi-sensor, can be integrated in Light Shed 14 (img 1) and iN60 (img 2) luminaires to optimise their use of light according to real-life requirements. In general, all our indoor DALI products can be used with ORT technology, simply by adding standalone ORT multi-sensors (img 3) to the lighting system.

The Axis video camera extends its functions beyond security, to make the management of spaces and people more efficient by improving overall service and people’s experience in a specific place and time. The Occupancy function allows you to establish in real time how many people are present in a specific area at any time, in order to monitor people-flow and view the data comfortably from a PC. The same is true of the People Counter function which counts the number of people who enter a space in a specific time interval. The camera also offers other services such as Crossing Line Alert, Blocked Exit, Queue Monitoring, Wrong Way Detection and Response for Dwell.
