Product code MN27 Master Pro DMX MN27: "CONNECT EIB/KNX" Gateway universal interface between ecueNet-Ethernet network and the KNX/EIB system of a building. Vin=24V dc, 3W Attention! Code no longer in production Technical description: The "CONNECT EIB/KNX" is a universal EIB/KNX (Konnex) gateway for the integration of EIB sensors and components in the E:net network from E:cue. The gateway forwards messages from the EIB system, for example wind, rain, touch sensors, using the E:net protocol for integration in the E:cue system. This technological combination combines the best of both worlds: EIB as a stable and widespread building automation system for a wide range of applications and the E:cue lighting control system for control of a large number of dynamic DMX channels and devices which use the E:net protocol. The "CONNECT EIB/KNX" gateway converts uni-directional data from the KNX-EIB system to the e:cueNet protocol. That allows E:cue devices to be controlled via KNX-EIB (Konnex) devices. In this way, the entire KNX/EIB installation, for example EIB-touch sensors, timer switches, weather sensors (wind and rain), can be used to control DMX systems. As a result, complex scenarios can be set up alongside conventional or special effect lighting, sun blind technology and even air conditioning and ventilation control, just like with E:cue DMX systems. Connection to the E:cue network is through a RJ45 (standard Ethernet) connection. RS232, A/B and “local bus" ports have no function. The CONNECT EIB/knx Gateway is not programmed using E:cue network components. Body material: plastic Colour: Indeterminate (00) Weight (Kg): 0.3 Notes:
